• • Dr. David Palmer has over years of experience as an exploration geologist in the Canadian and international mining industry. Dr. Palmer was appointed the President and CEO of Probe Mines in , leading the successful team that was responsible for two major mineral discoveries, including the multimillion ounce Borden Gold deposit, until it was acquired by Goldcorp in . In addition to working extensively throughout Canada, he has a broad range of experience in a variety of commodities in South America, South Africa, India, Greenland and Scandinavia.

• • Patrick Reid has been associated with the Ontario Mining Association since , originally as its Executive Director and recently retired as its President and CEO. From to Mr. Reid served as the MPP for the riding of Rainy River, Ontario and held various senior positions both within government and in opposition including Chairman, Public Accounts Committee, Finance and Revenue Critic for the Official Opposition, Member of the Select Committee on Guidelines for the Ombudsman, Vice Chair, Company Law, and Advisor Canadian Comprehensive Auditing Foundation. Mr. Reid was the first president of the newly constituted Ontario Liberal party. Prior to his election to the Ontario Legislature he taught high school and was involved in the real estate and travel industry in the Lake of the Woods/Rainy Lake area. Mr. Reid holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Manitoba. He is a member of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada, the John T. Ryan Safety Awards Committee, and a past member of the Executive Committee of the Toronto Branch of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy CIMM . He was awarded the CIMM fellowship in for his outstanding contribution to the Canadian mining industry and the CIMM.
